If you’re worried about your broadcast ad getting lost in the commercial-break shuffle, NextMedium (nextmedium.com) offers another way to reach the entertainment-loving public: Embed, a web-based product placement marketplace that offers opportunities to get your product in TV, film, video games and music. The free version (registration required) doesn’t offer most of the subscription version’s analytical bells and whistles, but it allows you to view some opportunities, which start as little as $5,000, by product category, demographic, price or date. NextMedium also charges a small clearing fee on each transaction.
